The excitement from doing well for my mid-term assessments is wearing off. This is because of my job. I worked last night and it was not pleasant. The staff has been trimmed dramatically which makes it hard for us to manage when it gets busy. For the past few weeks nightly reservations have been averaging around forty or fifty. Last night they were one hundred and ten. Each of us had to do our best to help out each other, but at the same time not expect any help ourselves. It was a drag. It doesn't help that I hadn't served customers outside of the bar for a few weeks either. Now I'm about to head in to my job this afternoon and I'm hoping that tonight will be easier. (6)
