Which really sucks. All the time I had off yesterday and tomorrow, Remembrance Day, I have to spend laid up with a stuffy head. I'm usually good about this and never really let any illness get the best of me. Considering all of the factors I let myself slip.
Last Thursday I rode home in the rain. The next day I sat at home while my cousin smoked cigarettes indoors. That's something she usually doesn't do. Then I worked that night and ate some food that facilitated the whole illness. I stayed up late playing chess after work, when I should've just went home and got rest. I had to work Saturday with a sore throat. Yesterday I tried to rest it off, but it was too much. By this morning it had moved from my throat to my chest. And now it's in my head. Tomorrow I guess I'll be laid up. Maybe I can get started on the last final project I have to start.
I had the opportunity to dine in college's school luncheon with the Premier today, the Honorable Dr. Ewart Brown. The guy's got it down, I must admit. He fielded questions from the college students and interns present, answering them deftly. It was a bit sad the questions that were asked, but compared to what I had planned to ask, they were a bit more politically oriented. I never got to ask my question, which didn't bother me much. I find Bermuda's public relations a farce. However, I do agree with the views of Dr. Brown. I really don't know why so many people dislike him.
I feel like crap and I should be home now. I don't think I'll be staying here on campus much longer. I need some rest. (5)
